The Viburnum Suspensum (Sandanqwa Viburnum) is a very popular and versatile evergreen shrub that is ideal for hedges and windbreaks in warmer climates.¬† This hearty shrub can tolerate wet soils and moderate drought as well as full sun and partial shade exposures.
The Suspensum has a rapid rate of growth and will tolerate being placed near foundations but does best in moist, well-draining soil. This robust, dense evergreen grows upright and displays dark-green leaves; producing pale pink flower clusters in the Spring which produce small red berries in Fall.
