The Purple D'Oro Day lily is an easy to grow perennial produces beautiful lavender-purple 2-1/2 inch blooms that have yellow-green throatsin summer into fall that attract butterflies. This day lilyhas a compact clumping growth habit and once mature and established it can be divided every few years if desired. This daylily can handle environmental stresses such as poor soils, heat, humidity, and drought conditions. Day lilies are often used in beds, borders, ground covers, mixed foundations, rock gardens, or edging in the landscape.

Planting Instructions

* Water before planting
* plant in Full Sun
* Dig hole 3 times the width of pot
* Backfill and plant 1-2 inches above soil level
* Water and add more soil if needed
* mulch plant
* Water 2-3 times per week until established
