Medium sized fruit that is very juicy, good color and rich sweet flavor. Originated in a grove owned by Rev. J.B. Owens near Citra, Florida. Harvested December to February. Was originally produced under the name Hickory, but was renamed Pineapple because of its delicate fragrance.
