Needlepoint Chinese Holly is native to China and Korea and as its name denotes has a sharp needle-like end to each of its oval and shiny leaves. The Chinese Holly can be grown and maintained into standalone bush or hedge line. While green year-round the Needlepoint will put out red berries in the fall and early spring will bloom small white flowers. Of the holly family this species likes warmer weather with full sun and some shade. It is drought tolerant and needs well-drained soil to flourish.
