Description

Size: 1-2’.

This early ripening mandarin is popular in Japan.
Produces very sweet, seedless, easy to peel fruit that ripens earlier than Owari Satsuma.
Since the fruit is small and soft, it is not grown commercially, but it is becoming a home gardener's favorite.
Exposure: Full Sun, Provide 8 or more hours of direct sunlight per day.

Average Mature Size: 8’-12’. When planted in the ground, tree will reach 8’-12’ at maturity. In a container, the semi dwarf trees will stay much smaller, especially with judicious pruning.

Features: Self Fertile, Hardy to 32 ºF, Mature fruit typically in Winter/Spring
