Carolina jessamine (Gelsemium sempervirens) is a vigorous climbing semi-evergreen to evergreen vine with shiny dark green foliage. In late winter to early spring Carolina will put on a beautiful fragrant display of fragrant trumpet-shade yellow flowers. This plant is often used on a trellis, arbor, or fence line, but can also be used as a mounding ground cover.

Planting Instructions

* Water before planting
* plant in Full Sun to part shade
* Dig hole 3 times the width of pot
* Backfill and plant 1-2 inches above soil level
* Water and add more soil if needed
* mulch plant
* Water 2-3 times per week until established
