The EverColor Everest variegated sedge (Carex) is an unique ornamental grass that has been added to the Southern Living Plant Collection. The blades of this sedge are boldly variegated with a dark olive green stripe running down the length of the blade which is framed by white edges. This plant is great for using in the landscape as a mass planting, border, foundation, or around a bed. It can also be used in a container garden as a spiller feature. Plant Everest is slightly acidic well drained garden soil in an area of part sun to part shade.
Planting Instructions

* Water before planting
* plant in Full Sun to Part Shade
* Dig hole 3 times the width of pot
* Backfill and plant 1-2 inches above soil level
* Water and add more soil if needed
* Water 2-3 times per week until established
