The Duranta Erecta Sapphire Showers is related to the Verbenaceae family a shrub like tree that is grown for its butterfly attracting flowers and ornamental fruit. The foliage of the Picotee Sky Flower is glossy, tooth edged, dark green and small. In the late spring and summer this plant will bloom a multiple cascading branchy clusters of small vibrant violet-blue flowers with each petal having a white picotee edge.
