Due to its ability to withstand lack of care and little sun the Janet Craig Dracaena is one of the most common indoor plants. It does well as a potted plant and is usually grown with 3 to 5 stalks that help keep the plant full as it grows. Its long, glossy, dark green leaves grow in a rosette shape around its bamboo-like trunk and adds a tropical feel to any office or home.
The Janet Craig can grow as tall as 15 feet but indoors its mature at 5 to 8 feet and its leaves reaching 2 feet. It can also bloom a 10-12 stalk with white flowers at the tips if growing conditions are prime.
This plant likes well-drained soil and partially sunny areas.
