The Juniperus Virginiana Eastern Red Cedar (commonly referred to as a Burkii) is a beautiful juniper that develops as a tall, blue-gray pyramid with lovely purple accents during the winter months. This is a hardy and incredibly adaptable evergreen that is a familiar sight across Northern America. The Eastern Red Cedar can tolerate a number of conditions, including drought, cold, heat, and less than ideal soil types; however, this year-round beauty is unable to withstand standing water or soggy soil.
