Native to southern Asia the Burgundy Rubber Plant can be a tall, dense, tree or maintained as a house plant. It's brown bark holds large oval leaves that emerge vibrant burgundy and become dark green with a thick and glossy texture. In an area of partial sun the plant will hold more burgundy hues.
The rubber plant is hardy and will regrow if frost occurs.
Over watering will cause sickness or bugs to take over the plant.
With sun and rich, well-drained soil the Burgundy Rubber Plant will thrive.
