The Blue Rug Juniper is a prostrate hardy variety with a low trailing habit and short needle-like silvery-blue feathery aromatic foliage. This groundcover Juniper is commonly used for foundation plantings, around trees and shrubs, embankment plantings, beds, rock gardens, or planted along and allowed to hang over retaining walls. Plant this ground cover 2 å«_ to 3 ft apart in a location that will receive full sun to light shade.

* Plant in full sun
* Dig hole 3 times the width of pot
* Backfill and plant 1-2 inches above soil level
* Water and add more soil if needed
* Mulch plants
* Apply a balanced slow-release fertilizer each spring
