The Southern Living Alabama Sunrise Heucherella produces soft-edged leaves that change color with the season. In spring they are bright gold with red veins, the leaves mature and become greener but still keep the red veins. In late spring they give way to small, white, bell-shaped flowers. In fall, the matured leaves turn into coral tones that last through the winter.
